April 1998. Taken at Ishiyamadera, overlooking Lake Biwa, near Kyoto. This temple is supposed to be where Lady Murasaki Shikibu wrote The Tale of Genji (Genji Monogatari), probably the world's first novel, about 1000 years ago.
